The Staff Accountant must be able to manage daily financial transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping for claims-related payments. The ideal candidate should have experience in no fault insurance accounting and understands the importance of compliance and precision.
Be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records in a high-volume claims environment while ensuring full compliance with state insurance regulations and internal controls.
Responsibilities- Record, process, reconcile, and monitor high-volume No-Fault claims payments and invoices.
- Daily claims payment tracking
- Assist in preparing financial reports
- Ensure compliance with state insurance department regulations
- Collaborate with claims management teams
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper (no-fault insurance industry experience preferred)
- Experience with accounting software (Quick Books or similar systems)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience working in a high-volume claims environment
- Understanding of accounting principles and reconciliation processes
Salary Range: $55,000-$65,000
