We are excited to offer an amazing opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team in New York!

Responsibilities:
- Process and enter approximately 300+ invoices weekly, ensuring proper approval, check request verification, and accurate coding.
- Record business transactions and key daily worksheets into the general ledger system
- Produce invoices, checks, account statements, reports, and other financial records
- Review and verify all entries into customer billing systems on a daily basis
- Maintain organized filing systems and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports
- Utilize computer systems and accounting software to manage databases, process payments, and order supplies
- Research, track, and resolve accounting discrepancies and issues
- Support Accounts Payable and Billing functions as needed
- Assist accounting supervisors and department managers with administrative and financial tasks
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (or currently working toward completion)
- Prior accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage a substantial workload and meet strict deadlines
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
