THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE 5 DAYS PER WEEK IN MIDTOWN MANHATTAN.

We are looking for a Staff Tax Accountant. (Bilingual Italian is a plus)

The right candidate must have 2 to 3 years’ experience working in an accounting office or CPA firms. Part of the experience requirement is managing clients, processing Payroll, Sales Tax, Licenses and Permits, month end close, and financial statement preparation. It is extremely important that the candidate possesses strong analytical skills, problem solving skills, strong attention to detail and common sense and flexibility are equally valued in this role.

• Bachelors’ degree in Accounting required
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Public Accounting.
• Proficient using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Quick Books, Sage 50
• Processing Payroll, Sales Tax, Licenses and Permits is a plus
• Experience in month end close, and financial statement preparation
• CPA Candidate a plus
• English required and Italian a plus
• Must be able to work well under pressure and manage time efficiently
