AboutThe Role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented, proactive Accountant (AR focus) who thrives in a fast-paced environment and excels at maintaining financial accuracy, strengthening client relationships, and improving accounting processes. You will play a key role in managing invoicing, payment application, collections, reconciliations, and month‑end activities within Net Suite
.
This position is ideal for someone who is analytical, communicative, highly organized, and excited about contributing to a collaborative and dynamic team.
What You’ll Do Accounts Receivable & Client Billing- Generate and issue customer invoices according to billing schedules and contract terms.
- Accurately record and apply payments (checks, ACH, wire, credit cards).
- Monitor aging reports and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.
- Follow up on past‑due invoices via email and phone.
- Maintain clean, accurate AR records within Net Suite.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly AR reconciliations.
- Work with internal departments to research and resolve discrepancies.
- Support month‑end closing including accruals, reporting, and account reconciliations.
- Prepare documentation for audits and compliance needs.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and internal teams on billing or payment issues.
- Ensure proper documentation for revenue recognition and payment application.
- Assist with vendor bill entry for designated third‑party vendors.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and improve cash flow visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
- 5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting.
- Hands‑on Net Suite experience is required.
- Strong understanding of AR principles and GAAP fundamentals.
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and data integrity.
- Excellent communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
