Job Description

Our client is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on strengthening communities by eliminating financially burdensome medical debt. Founded in 2014, they pioneered a scalable model that uses philanthropic donations to purchase large portfolios of medical debt and then permanently forgive that debt—at no cost and with no tax consequences to recipients.

To date, the organization has helped erase over $14 billion in medical debt, providing meaningful financial relief to more than 9 million individuals and families nationwide. Their work sits at the intersection of direct economic justice and systemic change, partnering with mission‑aligned stakeholders and managing a growing portfolio of public‑sector initiatives, including 20+ government contracts.

Headquartered in Queens, New York, the team operates in a hybrid environment (in‑office 3 days per week).
