Due to continued growth and acquisitions in the pipeline, we are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic accounting team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, passionate about numbers, and has a strong understanding of corporate/management company accounting principles. • Day‑to‑day/full cycle accounting for a portfolio of 10–12 self‑storage properties and two management companies
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP for assigned entities, including bank reconciliations, journal entries, reclassifications, expense accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and maintenance of supporting work papers
• Monitor cash and ensure sufficient liquidity for properties
• Review and approve payables in Yardi/Procure‑to‑Pay workflow
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasting
• Track expenditures against budgets and submit loan draws
• Ensure loan covenants are met and track critical dates
• Prepare work papers for annual federal tax filings
• Manage and record corporate credit card usage
• Record and reconcile intercompany transactions between management company and 50+ properties
• Dedication to continuously improve accounting processes
• Assist with special tasks and projects as requested

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting with 7+ years of relevant experience; CPA or advanced degree a plus.
• 1‑2+ years of recent hands‑on experience with YARDI Voyager is preferred.
• Experience in management company accounting for a real estate company.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and strong written and verbal communication skills.
