Location: Goshen

Our client, a manufacturing organization committed to excellence and innovation, is seeking a dedicated Accountant to join their team.  As an Accountant, you will be an integral part of the Finance Department supporting financial reporting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, integrity, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

** Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm

** What's the Job?*
* + Manage accounts receivable processes, including payment receipt, collection prioritization, and reporting on AR performance.

+ Handle accounts payable functions, including invoice review, coding, and timely processing of payments.

+ Execute monthly accounting close procedures, prepare journal entries, and reconcile subledgers to general ledgers.

+ Support financial reporting activities, including preparing financial statements and supporting schedules for audits.

+ Assist with internal controls, process improvements, and participate in ERP system implementation and automation initiatives.

** What's Needed?*
* + BS degree in accounting and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or a 2-year degree with 5+ years of experience in accounting (manufacturing or similar environment preferred).

+ In-depth understanding of financial and core accounting concepts, techniques, and regulatory requirements.

+ Knowledge of financial ERP systems (preferably Microsoft Navision, D365).

+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

+ High level of professionalism, integrity, and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
