Billing Specialist

Our client, a growing and fast-paced financial services firm, is seeking a detail-oriented Collections/ Billing Specialist to join its Finance team. This role supports the full revenue cycle and works closely with internal stakeholders to ensure accurate billing, timely collections, and clean financial records. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

• Manage day-to-day accounts receivable activities, including invoicing, cash application, and collections
• Monitor customer aging reports and follow up on past-due balances
• Apply customer payments accurately and resolve discrepancies or short-payments
• Perform customer account reconciliations and maintain accurate records
• Maintain customer documentation and communication logs
• Prepare basic AR reports and support month-end close activities
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issues
• Support audits and internal controls as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• 2–6 years of accounts receivable or related accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in Excel and standard accounting systems
• Clear, professional communication skills
• Self-starter with a proactive and positive attitude
