Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant supports the Corporate Accounting department by preparing, analyzing, and reconciling financial records and reports. This role ensures accurate and timely posting of accounting transactions, assists with month-end and year-end closing activities, and maintains compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with internal accounting procedures.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts, including balance sheet accounts, bank accounts, and intercompany accounts.
• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare supporting schedules for internal and external audits.
• Review and analyze expense reports, vendor records, and financial data for accuracy.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
• Preparing monthly financial reports, variance analyses, and ad hoc reporting for management and GVA per procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate recording of operational expenses and revenues.
• Managing Accounts Payable and bank accounts.
• Identify process improvements and support implementation of enhanced accounting procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2-4 years industry experience
• Analytical: advanced

• MS Excel with the ability to learn new software: advanced

• Data analytics experience/knowledge
• SAP experience mandatory
• Concur, and MS Access experience a plus
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
