Staff Accountant

An experiential hospitality organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to manage daily revenue reporting, accounts payable, and general ledger activity. This role partners closely with the Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting and smooth accounting operations.

• Oversee daily revenue activity, reconcile POS/PMS reporting, and maintain accurate income journals
• Perform bank, cash, and credit card reconciliations
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable including PO review, invoice coding, posting, and vendor maintenance
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain petty cash and support deposit procedures
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and assist with month-end close
• Support general ledger accuracy and internal reporting needs

• 4+ years of accounting experience within hotel or hospitality environments
• Strong background in AP, AR, revenue audit, and GL functions
• Experience with hospitality POS/PMS systems (e.g., Toast, Mews or similar) preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage accounting highly preferred
• Ability to work onsite full-time and adapt to operational scheduling needs

Compensation: $80,000 - 90,000

Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
