A Professional Services Firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Senior Accountant.
Responsibilities- Provide accounting and financial support to clients, including SEC audit preparation, monthly closes, and financial modeling (budgeting, forecasting, projections)
- Prepare and review financial statements and related disclosures for public and private companies
- Improve accounting procedures, financial processes, and internal controls
- Manage engagement performance to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery
- Build and maintain client relationships and respond to accounting and financial inquiries through research and analysis
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5 years of professional accounting experience, with a strong preference for public accounting
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and account reconciliations
- Exposure to month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet management
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
