Responsibilities
Kforce's client, a leading national CPA firm is seeking an Audit Manager for their growing Financial Services in New York City.
Summary:
In this role, you will oversee all aspects of the auditing process. Your contribution will help us maintain high quality audits and make better strategic decisions for our business plan. This is a hybrid role with a great culture and much less overtime required than other firms (i.e., Big
4). We know because many of their staff and partners started their careers at larger firms and experienced poor work-life balance.
- The Audit Manager will plan, lead and oversee the auditing process from start to finish
- Delegate tasks to junior staff and senior auditors
- Assess the audit for accuracy and compliance
- Utilize data perform risk and control assessments
- As an Audit Manager, you will employ best practices to conduct high quality audits
- Use the data collected to propose strategies to improve efficiency and compliance
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant subject;
Master's degree and CPA are preferred - 6+ years of recent related public accounting audit/assurance experience with financial service clientele
- Strong knowledge of auditing practices and control practices
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in place
- Excellent leadership skills
- Keen attention to detail and dependable
- Works with professionalism and integrity
- Excellent command over accounting software and MS
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
