Client Accounting Inventory Control Analyst
Position:
Client Accounting Inventory Control Analyst.
Location:
NYC office (hybrid).
- Support the Client Accounting team by monitoring the firm’s billing inventory, preparing routine reports, and assisting with monthly forecasting and follow‑up efforts related to outstanding balances.
- Review outstanding balance reports to ensure reporting compliance and identify client/matter items requiring follow‑up or additional reporting information.
- Conduct monthly review meetings with assigned Client Accounting Billing Managers and Supervisors to address outstanding balances; flag items, track next steps, and status updates.
- Assist with the monthly forecasting process and billing/collections escalation process.
- Provide daily updates to the global billing team regarding monthly goal and current status.
- Handle multiple complex analysis projects; respond to inquiries and requests from department management.
- Provide relevant information, guidance, and support to others in the firm; build strong work‑team relationships.
- Communicate issues, elevate as needed, and identify training and coaching needs of department staff.
- Actively seek to enhance knowledge of all Client Accounting procedures and processes.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; foster effective work relationships.
- Manage firm resources responsibly; comply with firm operation, policies, and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of relevant firm computer software (Aderant, Star Collect, Outlook, Excel, Word) and ability to learn new software and operating systems.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organization and prioritization ability.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills.
- Close attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working in a demanding, fast‑paced environment, both independently and within a team.
- Use discretion and exercise independent, sound judgment.
- Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needs.
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of four to five years of related experience.
Competitive base salary ($95,000 – $105,000) and year‑end discretionary bonuses.
