AML & Fraud Analytics Audit Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an AML & Fraud Analytics Audit Manager in New York, NY. In this role, you will be responsible for various auditing and accounting tasks within the banking sector. This includes data modeling, analytics, internal audit, and control testing. This role offers a short‑term contract employment opportunity. Ideal candidate will have experience with VERAFIN, help with tuning, data analysis, etc.

• Conduct internal audits and control testing to ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Use data analytics skills to interpret financial data and provide insights
• Utilize knowledge of accounting software systems such as Case Ware and CCH Pro System Fx
• Develop and execute audit plans and audit engagements
• Conduct budget processes and accounting functions to ensure financial stability
• Use programming knowledge in R, Matlab, and Python to enhance auditing processes
• Collaborate with different teams to ensure the integrity and transparency of financial data.

• Must possess a minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing or a related field
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
• Prior experience with Audit Program is required
• Familiarity with Case Ware will be an advantage
• Knowledge of CCH Pro System Fx and CCH Sales Tax is necessary
• Experience in handling Accounting Functions is essential
• Must have been involved in Audit Engagements before
• Auditing skills should be well developed
• Experience in creating and managing Audit Plans would be beneficial
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is expected.
