Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements for corporate clients, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow analysis.
• Enter journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and conduct account reconciliations in accordance with GAAP.
• Prepare tax returns for corporations, partnerships, gift and estate tax returns, as well as quarterly/annual payroll and sales tax returns.
• Research tax advantages and disadvantages for client business decisions, develop tax benefit strategies, and represent clients in tax audits.

Preferred Skills

• Fluent in Chinese and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Build an accounting clientele.
• File sales tax and prepare payrolls for accounting clients.
• Communicate with existing clients to resolve complications.
• Develop new accounting clients through the cross‑sale system.
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual in English/Chinese (Mandarin); CPA or CPA candidates preferred.

Compensation

• $3,000 to $5,000 per month based on experience, plus bonus and other benefits.
