* Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for a long-term contract opportunity supporting a high-volume environment in Westchester County, NY. This role requires full-time onsite presence and will run through February 2027.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* + Perform high-volume, weekly 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts

+ Process vendor payments accurately and efficiently

+ Handle reconciliations and resolve invoice discrepancies or disputes

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes

+ Maintain strong vendor relationships and address inquiries in a timely manner

* Qualifications:

*
* + Minimum of 5+ years of accounts payable experience in a high-volume environment

+

Experience with 3-way match, payment processing, and reconciliations

+ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and vendor management experience

* Preferred Qualifications:

*
* + Accounts receivable experience is a plus

+ Proficiency in Excel, including spreadsheet creation, VLOOKUPs, and pivot tables

+ Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred
