Location: New York

We are seeking a Property Accountant for an ONSITE role in Midtown Manhattan
. This position requires experience with Yardi, CAM, and GAAP
. Candidates must have solid commercial property experience (office, retail, shopping centers, garages) and a strong work history
. Please note, only candidates with Yardi experience will be considered.

Responsibilities include:

Preparing monthly reporting packages for various property types (shopping centers, office buildings, retail, development properties)

Reconciling tenant security accounts and ledgers

Creating AP batches for mortgages in Yardi

Updating escrow and mortgage balances for the Treasury Department

Reviewing distribution schedules and documenting variances

Reviewing CAM reconciliations for budgets and audits

Preparing year-end audit work papers

Updating GAAP schedules for depreciation and straight-line rent

Filing Income and Expense forms with municipalities

Preparing tax documents with external counsel
