Job Details What you'll do

Prepare quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting variance analyses

Perform lease analyses, net rent calculations, and property-level financial evaluations

Drive quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting in partnership with senior leadership

Review and analyze financial reporting from third-party property managers; resolve discrepancies

Advise and direct external property managers on accounting standards and best practices

Support onboarding of newly acquired assets into accounting systems

Own full-cycle accounting: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end close

Support joint venture and construction audits alongside external auditors

Maintain J-SOX internal control compliance and documentation

Optimize and administer the Yardi accounting platform

What you bring

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Active CPA license or in process a plus
4+ years of accounting experience w
REAL ESTATE INDSUTRY EXPERIENCE
Public accounting firm audit background strongly preferred
Experience with Yardi or a comparable platform (MRI, Angus) a plus
