Position: Audit Senior Associate - Benefit Plan Services
Location: New York

Responsibilities
  • Run client engagements from start to finish, including financial statement preparation, staffing, scheduling, budgeting, planning, and administrative functions.
  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff and interns on audit processes and assess performance in engagement reviews.
  • Maintain an outstanding relationship with clients, increase customer satisfaction, and collaborate across client staff levels.
  • Work with the audit team to identify and resolve client issues and recommend business and process improvements.
  • Research and analyze financial statements and audit issues using electronic databases and audit software.
  • Engage with key client management to collect information, resolve audit‑related problems, and provide recommendations.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of recent public accounting external audit experience.
  • Experience auditing Benefit Plans.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, technical, and accounting/auditing skills.
  • Experience with engagement management, reviews, and staff supervision.
  • Ability to multi‑task across multiple engagements concurrently.
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; must meet CPA certification education requirements (150 eligible credit hours) in your state of residence.
  • Master’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • CPA strongly preferred or pursuing CPA licensing.
  • Willingness to work additional hours and travel to client sites.
