Accounting Manager – Multifamily / Property Accounting

📍 New York City (4 days in-office)

We are partnering with a rapidly growing, vertically integrated real estate investment firm focused on acquiring and operating affordable housing assets across the U.S.

This is a high-impact Accounting Manager role focused on property accounting within a growing multifamily portfolio. You’ll work directly with senior leadership and play a key role in helping scale and professionalize the accounting function.

• Own the month-end close process across a growing portfolio
• Prepare and review financial statementsi>
• Manage property-level accounting and reporting (Yardi)
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Partner closely with AP and outsourced accounting support
• Identify and implement process improvements across systems and workflows

• 5–8 years of real estate accounting experience (multifamily preferred)
• Background in public accounting strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management systems
• Strong understanding of month-end close and financial reporting
• Demonstrated career progression and stability (tenure + promotions)

• Direct exposure to leadership and decision-making
