.Join a dynamic and growing CPA firm in the NYC metro area as a Senior Tax Associate.

We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who’s ready to take ownership of client engagements, lead tax preparation and planning efforts, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts
• Lead client engagements from start to finish, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of services
• Offer strategic tax planning and identify opportunities for savings and compliance improvements
• Support and mentor junior staff, reviewing their work and helping them grow professionally
• Research complex tax issues and stay informed on changes in tax laws, especially in New York and surrounding states
• Respond to federal and state tax notices and coordinate with clients as needed
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and trusted advice

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation preferred)
• CPA license required
• 3–5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax compliance and planning
• Solid knowledge of federal and NY State tax laws and regulations
• Experience with tax software such as CCH Axcess, Ultra Tax, or similar
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• A self-starter who can manage multiple deadlines and work independently or within a team
