We are seeking an experienced and driven Senior Manager, Audit to join a growing and dynamic public accounting and advisory firm. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned audit professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client service, leading high-performing teams, and contributing to the continued growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, manage, and execute audit engagements while ensuring compliance with professional standards and deadlines.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
- Review audit work papers, financial statements, and engagement deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and completeness.
- Present audit findings and recommendations to clients, providing clear guidance and addressing questions effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Collaborate with partners and senior leadership on risk management, accounting policies, industry developments, and engagement strategy.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, professional standards, and internal policies.
- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities, networking, and participating in industry events.
- Stay current on emerging accounting, auditing, and regulatory trends.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA designation or CPA candidate
- 5+ years of experience within a CPA firm, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and auditing best practices
- Experience with Uniform Guidance and construction industry engagements is a plus
- Experience with CCH Engagement, Microsoft Office Suite, and Intuit products preferred
- Strong analytical, leadership, communication, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail
