$100,000 – $115,000 Key Responsibilities

General Accounting

• Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments.
• Perform monthly balance sheet and income statement reconciliations.
• Analyze financial performance and investigate variances.
• Maintain the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.

Audit & Compliance

• Support external and internal audit processes.
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Assist with tax filings and compliance reporting.
• Maintain documentation supporting internal controls and accounting procedures.

Accounts Receivable & Payable Oversight

• Review and reconcile AR and AP activity.
• Monitor aging reports and support collections activities.
• Ensure accurate coding and approval of expenditures.
• Process customer deductions and related transactions.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• CPA qualification preferred but not required.

Experience

• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience with in manufacturing, consumer products, food & beverage, or a related industry preferred.
• Experience working with ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Skills

• Strong understanding of GAAP.
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel capabilities including Pivot Tables and lookup functions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to partner across functions.
