Senior Accountant

Overview

The Senior Accountant will support the organization by maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of accounting processes, excellent analytical skills, and a passion for contributing to the organization.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Prepare and analyze monthly cost reports, preparation of cost forecasts and budget, financial analysis, and cost audits.
• Assist in preparing monthly reporting package including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and other reports
• Review and analyze monthly variances for actual costs of sales, budgets, sales and operations planning forecasts in collaboration with business partners.
• Perform general cost accounting and compare budgets with actual expenses.
• Identify opportunities for improving internal accounting processes.
• Support implementation of new accounting software or system upgrades.

• 7+ of years of related work experience required and with manufacturing environment business experience
• Strong work ethic focused on meeting deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve issues. Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving, project management.
• Oracle or other Enterprise systems experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA
