Boutique Public Accounting Firm seeking Tax Supervisor

Salary: $85,000 - $140,000 per year.

Tax Compliance & Review

• Supervise and review the preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, corporations (C-Corp and S-Corp), partnerships, trusts, and estates.
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely filing of all assigned returns within firm and regulatory deadlines.
• Research and resolve complex tax issues, applying current tax law and authoritative guidance.
• Manage and review tax projections, extensions, and estimated tax payments.
• Utilize CCH Axcess Tax for return preparation, workflow management, and electronic filing.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive tax experience in a public accounting environment.
• Demonstrated proficiency with CCH Axcess Tax (preparation, review, and e-filing workflows).
• In-depth knowledge of federal income tax law and multi-state compliance requirements.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or active CPA candidate — strongly preferred.
• Experience with CCH Axcess Workflow, Document, or Practice Management modules.
• Familiarity with Pro System fx or other CCH tax software platforms.
