Accounting Clerk-Part Time
Accounting Clerks play a crucial role in managing financial transactions and ensuring accurate record-keeping within the venue. Accounting Clerks review invoices and reconcile accounts to maintain financial accuracy. Accounting Clerks ensure that financial records are up-to-date and comply with company policies and regulatory standards. Accounting Clerks possess strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes.
Essential Functions
- Answering general office telephones, provide customer service and office support
- Accounts Receivable: create invoices, send them to customers and occasionally receive and post payments
- Accounts Payable: create purchase orders, match deliveries to PO, receive POs, match invoices to POs; invoice entry; vendor file maintenance
- Payroll: employee file maintenance, process employee time records, submit payroll files accurately and on time.
- Data Entry: assist other departments as needed
- Must be organized with storage and maintenance of all financial records
- Ensuring that all accounting and operational accounting functions are being performed in the most effective and efficient fashion, while conforming to the Standard Operating Procedures of the Company.
- Assisting in the processes which ensure accurate, timely financial statements for the location.
- Monitor receivables while proactively reducing outstanding collectibles.
- Working with various departments to meet reporting needs.
- Providing audit support for all financial and operational activities.
- Monitor the administration of appropriate controls
- Assist other departments and perform other duties as assigned.
- Practice safe work habits and complete company and venue safety and general compliance training.
- Maintain a pleasant and collaborative attitude towards customers, co-workers, and management.
- Adheres to the Legends Global and venue company policies.
- Complete other duties assigned by management.
- Available to work part time days (between 10-15 hours weekly; seasonally (spring/summer/fall)
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate flexibility and quickly adapt to changes.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work independently and work well as a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education, preferred qualifications, and/or experience
- Associate's degree in accounting or finance, preferred
- One to three years of accounting experience to include accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll. (Food service environment preferred).
- Math, organizational, quick addition, good communications.
- Fast learner.
- Experience in Microsoft Professional Office.
- Organized work behavior ability to jump from task to task and prioritize as needed.
- Personable, can handle typical stress from deadlines, etc.
- Record keeping skills.
- Communication skills.
- Detail Oriented.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines, prioritizes work, and operates in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation
Competitive salary, $24.00-$26.00 per hour commensurate with experience.

Physical Demands
- Ability to lift/move/maneuver at least 10 lbs.
- Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Exposure to loud noises (i.e., fireworks, voices, and audio systems), flashing lights, and extreme heat/cold
