Charge Bookkeeper - Real Estate

NYC residential real estate management company seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper. Our client has a stable, family-like culture and offer flexibility as well as an attractive work-life balance.

• Manage full-cycle bookkeeping including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze journal entries, ledger postings, and balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee payroll management through systems like ADP to ensure timely processing and compliance with tax regulations along with direct filings of several entity payroll tax returns directly
• Conduct detailed account analysis and account reconciliation to verify data integrity across the general ledger.
• Prepare and review financial statements for over 150 properties with Yardi
• Ensure accurate data entry and maintenance of all financial records based in Yardi
• Assist with month-end closing processes, including accruals, depreciation entries, and account analysis to ensure timely reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or similar role with a strong understanding of corporate accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Quick Books, Yardi and/or similar systems.
• Strong technical accounting skills including journal entries, account reconciliation, balance sheet analysis, and financial statement preparation.
• Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy
• Ability to analyze financial data critically while demonstrating strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of NYC real estate compliance filings and/or rent regulations preferred.
