Job DescriptionAs an Audit Manager, you will lead engagement teams, act as a trusted consultant to clients, and mentor staff. Your work will influence client financial statements, operational effectiveness, and strategic decisions.

- Lead assurance and consulting engagements, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Engage with clients throughout the year to understand their goals and challenges.
- Implement testing to assess internal control deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Manage fieldwork, review findings, and provide financial‑statement guidance and business recommendations.
- Oversee client engagement staffing, billings, collections, and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships internally and externally with clients and the community.
- Invest in your own professional development and participate in firm‑wide learning programs.

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting (master’s or advanced degree preferred).
- CPA required.
- Four (4) or more years of financial statement audit experience in a professional services firm.
- Two (2) or more years of supervisory experience, including mentoring associates.
- Experience in asset‑management or fund engagements and broker‑dealer services preferred.
- Experience with Level III valuations required.
- Strong management, analytical, organisational, interpersonal, project‑management, and communication skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical practice, continuous learning, quality, and timely project completion.
- Highly developed Microsoft Office skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship preferred.
The pay range for this position is $92,000 to $166,300, adjusted for skills, experience, location, and other factors. Bakers Tilly offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package.
In Philadelphia, PA: $92,000 – $146,340.
In New York, NY: $126,500 – $166,300.
