A growing, global engineering organization is seeking an AP Accountant to join its lean finance team. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone who can jump in quickly
, manage high‑volume accounts payable, and operate effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
This position plays a key role in overseeing the full accounts payable cycle while supporting broader accounting functions, including reconciliations and project-based accounting. The team operates across multiple entities
, including international transactions, so attention to detail and adaptability are critical.
- Process payments through banking and vendor portals
- Maintain accurate AP records in Quick Books Desktop
- Perform account reconciliations, including foreign currency transactions
- Communicate with domestic and international vendors
- Support project and construction‑related accounting activities
- Partner closely with internal teams including procurement and project accounting
- Utilize Excel for reporting, tracking, and reconciliations
- 5–7+ years of accounting experience, with strong high-volume AP exposure
- Experience with foreign currency transactions (required)
- Proficiency in Quick Books Desktop and advanced Excel
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Experience working across multiple entities
- Background in property management, nonprofit, or project-based accounting is a plus
- Exposure to affordable housing or fund‑based accounting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
- On‑site, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
