Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

About The Company

Our client is a luxury consumer goods company seeking a Controller who will provide strategic and hands‑on accounting work for the growing company.

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow including transfers, funding needs, and working capital management.
• Manage AP/AR, invoice processing, and payroll duties daily.
• Lead and manage the month‑end and year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries and accruals.
• Perform and oversee bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce financial reports, cash flow statements, dashboards, and KPIs.
• Build financial models, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
• Prepare budgets vs. actuals including variance analysis and reporting.
• Oversee inventory valuation and ensure alignment between financial and operational data.
• Manage onboarding of payroll/benefits set‑up for new employees.
• Oversee company health benefits, 401(k), and retirement accounts.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA preferred.
• 8‑10 years of related accounting experience.
• Experience managing a team.
• Experience in Net Suite, Shopify, and  preferred.
• Experience with AP/AR, journal entries, and cash flow management.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
