PART‑TIME IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST
The role provides day‑to‑day IT support for office staff, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and assisting with workstation setup and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day‑to‑day IT support across the office, including senior staff.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with workstation setup, onboarding, and off‑boarding.
- Support software updates, licensing, and system maintenance.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and elevate issues as needed.
- Maintain clear documentation of systems, processes, and inventory.
- Research and implement IT improvements.
- Provide timely, professional support to staff.
Skills and Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field strongly preferred or in process.
- Minimum two (2) years of IT support experience.
- Strong knowledge of Windows OS and Microsoft 365.
- Basic understanding of networks, printers, and office systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues independently and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience supporting design software (AutoCAD, Revit).
- Excellent English communication skills.
- Strong ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Experience in the AEC industry preferred.
- Demonstrated team player, self‑starter, independent thinker.
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally required to stand and walk; climb or balance crouch.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty (20) pounds.
Technical Requirements:
- Intermediate level of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and MS Teams.
- Ability to operate office machinery and handle troubleshooting.
- Workstation setup and maintenance (laptops/desktops, peripherals).
- Knowledge of network basics (Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers, file servers).
Schedule:
- Part time – 20‑25 hours a week.
- In‑office presence required five days a week.
- Flexible schedule with availability for occasional urgent issues.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly range: $25–30 per hour, subject to adjustment.

This full‑time position manages all aspects of project accounting for an architectural and engineering firm, including budgeting, cost tracking, billing, revenue recognition, and compliance with GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project accounting:
Manage budgeting, cost tracking, billing, and revenue recognition. - Budgeting and forecasting:
Support annual budget preparation and net fee forecasting. - Audit and control:
Maintain internal controls, ensure GAAP compliance, and liaise with auditors. - General ledger management:
Handle journal entries, accounts payable and receivable. - Cash and treasury management:
Oversee daily cash management activities.
Qualifications and
Experience:
- Progressive accounting experience, 4‑6 years in corporate or project‑based accounting within the architecture, engineering or construction industry.
- Direct project accounting experience with percentage‑completion, time & material, and client‑approved fee tracking.
- Monthly client billing experience using Ajera, E‑Builder, PMWEB, SCA portal, and Passport preferred.
- Supervisory experience and proven management skills.
- Financial analysis, reporting, and financial statement preparation.
- Expertise in bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations.
- Experience with the financial closing process and related administrative duties.
- Strong interpersonal communication with clients, consultants, and team members.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Technical
Skills:
- Strong command of generally accepted accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency with accounting and ERP software.
- Advanced Excel skills.
