Thisisacriticalroleforanindividualwhoexcelsinafast-paced,high-changeenvironmentandisadeptatmanagingcomplex,multi-statepayrolloperations.

Youwillberesponsibleforensuringtheaccuracyandintegrityofourpayrollprocesseswhilecontinuouslydrivingimprovementsinarapidlyevolvingsetting.

• Drivethe Monthly Close : Directthetimelyandaccuratecompletionoftheaccountingcycleforallassignedareas.
  
  Ensureeverydeadlineismetandthebooksareclosedwithprecisionacrossmultiplelegalentities.
• Accrual Accounting&Adjusting Entries: Managethefullmonth-endaccrualprocesstoensureexpensesarerecognizedintheperiodincurred.
• Intercompany Settlements: Manageandreconcileintercompanypayrollallocationsand“dueto/duefrom”accountsforemployeesworkingacrossdifferentlegalentities
• Ownthe Payroll Accounting Cycle : responsibleforallpayrollaccountingfunctions,includingjournalentries,reconciliationsacrossmultiplesystems(Workday,ADP,Net Suite,D365),month-endcloseactivitiesforvariouslegalentities,andmanageyear-endpayrollcloseactivities..
• Ensure Compliance&Accuracy: Leadpayroll-relatedaudits,maintainSOXcompliance,andstaycurrentwithfederal,state,andlocalpayrollregulationstoensureflawlessexecution.
• Drive Process Improvement : Identifyandimplementenhancementstopayrollsystems,workflows,and reporting.
  
  Youwillbeakeyplayerintroubleshootingcomplexissuesandoptimizingoursystemintegrations.
• Collaborate and Analyze: PartnerwithFP&AandHRonforecastingandbudgeting,andprovideadhocreportingandinsightfulvarianceanalysistokeystakeholders.

• Experience: 5+yearsofprogressiveexperienceinpayrollaccounting
• Education: ABachelor’sdegreein
  
  Accountingorarelatedfield.
  
  CPAcertificationisaplus.
• Technical Proficiency: DeepunderstandingofGAAPandpayrollaccountingprinciples.
  
  Advancedproficiencyin Excelandhands-onexperiencewithpayrollsoftwareandERPsystems(NetSuiteorD
  365).
• Adaptability&Drive: Ademonstratedabilitytomanagemultipleprioritiesandmeettightdeadlinesinademanding,high-volume environment.
  
  Youareaproactiveproblem-solverwhoembraceschangeandiscommittedtocontinuousimprovement.
• Integrity&Communication: Exceptionalattentiontodetail,ahighlevelofintegrityforhandlingconfidentialinformation,andstronginterpersonalskillstocollaborateeffectivelyacrosstheorganization.

New York Base Salary: $128,000-$135,500 per year.
