Job Summary

BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations practice delivers industry‑leading expertise in accounting, business intelligence, damages analysis, economics, finance, intellectual property, valuation, data analytics, statistics, and strategic analysis. The Business Insurance Claims (BIC) practice focuses on providing forensic accounting and economic consulting for large business insurance claims and catastrophic events. The role seeks a highly skilled analyst to support clients through complex dispute and claim scenarios.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze financial data, such as Profit and Loss Statements and accounting ledgers.
  • Design and develop comprehensive financial and damages models and databases using Excel.
  • Perform data analytics on large volumes of disparate datasets.
  • Prepare and audit own and others’ work products to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct industry and market research and summarize findings into actionable plans.
  • Demonstrate creativity and efficient use of relevant software tools, analytical methods, and computer models to quantify damages, prepare demonstratives, and problem‑solve.
  • Assist in the preparation of expert witness testimony and reports on damages and claim valuation issues.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in accounting, finance, economics, statistics, or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience in forensic accounting, economic consulting, or dispute & damages related capacity within an accounting or consulting firm.
  • Big Four accounting experience preferred.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or actively pursuing CPA; additional certifications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  • High proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as other Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Salary & Benefits

Salary Range: $100,000 to $180,000 per year.
