Job Description
A midsize CPA firm located in Brooklyn is growing and seeking to hire a full‑time tax accountant with at least 4 years of experience. Immediate hire! Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to development and training of staff, preparing income tax returns which include 1040, 1120S, 1120, and 1065. Reviewing and preparing financial statements, write‑up work, handling tax notices, consulting and tax planning with clients.
Need to understand the functions of payroll taxes, sales taxes, bookkeeping, and accounting. Knowledge of Quick Books desktop, online, and Lacerte knowledge required. Great communication and interpersonal skills are required as well. Full‑time position.
