Compensation: $45,000 - $50,000 per year

As a Tax Preparer, you will review, prepare, and file tax returns, reconcile financial data, and act as a client liaison throughout the tax preparation process. You will work with various tax filing systems, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of all filings.

• Review and analyze client tax and revenue data to prepare accurate returns.
• Prepare supporting work papers and reconcile client ledgers to imported tax data.
• Facilitate and process state and local tax filings—both paper and online—and ensure timely payments.
• Communicate with clients throughout the tax preparation process and act as a client representative with applicable agencies as needed.
• Maintain strong client relationships to support repeat business and referrals.
• Process business renewal applications and exemption certifications.

• Bachelor’s degree (math degree preferred) or equivalent experience in accounting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other digital tools.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external clients.
• Effective prioritization and time management skills to meet tax deadlines.

• Familiarity with telecommunications industry tax requirements.
