To support the company's accounting operations, the remote Senior Accountant will manage month-end and year-end close activities, prepare and review financial statements, and analyze financial results while ensuring accuracy and integrity in a growing energy sector organization.
Key responsibilities:- Own month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Analyze financial results and investigate variances
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification preferred
- 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in the energy sector
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with financial statement preparation and compliance requirements
