GL Staff Accountant
Target total compensation ranges from $121,000 - $136,000, including a fixed annual salary of $110,000 - $125,000, an employee equity plan grant, and world‑class benefits.
About the Role: We are looking for a GL Staff Accountant to play a critical role in delivering a high-quality, timely, and well controlled financial close. This position is integral to the Accounting team’s month-end process, prepares journal entries and reconciliations, and ensures the integrity of Rokt’s consolidated financial statements under US GAAP. The role partners closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure complete, accurate, and timely financial records and the delivery of business insights.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, a problem‑solver mindset, and a passion for improving processes as Rokt scales toward public‑company readiness.
- Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and support month‑end close processes.
- Maintain SOX‑ready documentation and support internal & external audit requests.
- Leverage Net Suite and integrated tools (e.g., Flo Qast, Zip, Ramp) to streamline GL and close processes.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting; partner with Finance Systems & Automation teams to implement solutions.
- Contribute to projects that improve the scalability, speed, and accuracy of the monthly close process and global accounting operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA or CPA‑track preferred.
- 2-4 years of relevant accounting experience (public company, tech, or high‑growth environment preferred).
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and core accounting principles.
- Experience preparing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with Net Suite or similar ERP systems preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
