Outsourced Accounting Manager​/Controller; Watertown, NY

Job Summary

Watertown, NY. In the role, you will be a member of CAAS group accountable for providing Accounting Manager/Controller level accounting services including month‑end review and closing of financial records, processing payables and receivables and various other accounting operations for assigned clients.

• Oversee and manage responsibilities for assigned CAAS transactional staff
• Oversee timely efficient processing and accurate payment of vendor invoices
• Perform monthly accounting reconciliations of bank and general ledger accounts for assigned clients
• Perform accounting system clean‑ups
• Prepare month‑end close for assigned clients
• Assist with financial reporting
• Participate in marketing events

• B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 5 years experience in accounting with 2 years supervisory experience
• Experience with Quick Books preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Excellent communicator
• Have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Able to manage priorities and workflow
• Commitment to excellence and high standards

$70,000.00 - $90,000 DOE
