Position Profile

A Real Estate Tax Manager provides federal tax compliance and planning services to Weaver’s Real Estate clients. They develop advanced knowledge in this niche while training and mentoring other staff members. The role works closely with firm leadership and plays a key role in business development and team development.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA with 5+ years of experience in public accounting
  • A thorough understanding of individual, partnership, S‑Corp, C‑Corp returns, research and general business planning knowledge
  • Technical expertise in tax planning and execution for Real Estate clients
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • Proven ability to manage, mentor and develop staff
  • Strong relationship management and practice development skills
  • Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
Compensation and Benefits

Estimated compensation range: $125,000 to $191,000 in the New York and California Metropolitan areas (actual compensation based on experience, skills, certifications, and location). Benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401(k) plan, flexible scheduled time off, minimum of 56 hours of sick and safe leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days. Additional in‑house CPE and learning opportunities are offered via the internal Learning & Development department.
