Accounts Payable Specialist

About this position:

This role is responsible for providing day‑to‑day accounting and/or finance tasks relating to the needs of our firm’s clients.

• Prepare and submit journal entries into cloud‑based industry specific accounting software.
• Receive, review, and verify invoices and payment requests.
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving reports.
• Ensure proper approvals and GL coding.
• Preparation of GAAP financial statements.
• Maintenance and review of SOC‑1 internal control procedures.
• Weekly maintenance of an internal client deliverable schedule.

• Associate degree in accounting, Finance, or another Business‑related field.
• Proficiency with software related products such as Microsoft software programs, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and One Note.
