Job Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate preparation of tax returns as it relates to partnerships, individuals, S and C‑Corporations.
- Advise clients on a full spectrum of tax services, including planning, research, compliance, partnership allocations and general transactional activities.
- Review or conduct high level research of complex or emerging tax issues and prepare memorandums to support conclusions, including state tax issues and international tax issues.
- Review and confirm assignment objectives, scope and work plan with client.
- Identify assignment resource requirements and ensure appropriate resources are allocated to specific engagement roles.
- Lead client billing and accounts receivable processes.
- Anticipate, identify, and resolve complex assignment issues.
- Assist with new business development and expansion of services for existing clients.
- Build relationships with members of other business units within Armanino who serve similar clients.
- Develop internal and external network to understand other service offerings for real estate clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding engagement progress and seek client feedback on team performance.
- Manage teams effectively to ensure engagement profitability in the short and long term sustainability of practice.
- Coach and mentor staff and seniors on client engagements and career path.
- Begin to approach career in an executive way, taking ownership of responsibilities in a way that will position you for further advancement.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 1 year in a managerial role involving clients and team members.
- Master’s Degree in Taxation.
- CPA or equivalent credential.
- Compensation range: $111,800 - $169,800. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location.
