Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and detail‑driven accountant to support our US entities. This role is critical to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant transactional accounting, and to stabilize the financial operations of the organization.

Additional responsibilities include maintaining the accuracy of the general ledger through reconciliations, journal entries and month‑end close processes while ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal controls.

Reporting to the VP, Corporate Controller, the accountant will provide financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data, preparing reports, and preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries.

Locations: 150 E 42nd St, New York, NY 10017 (additional offices may include Newark, NJ; Jersey City, NJ).

• Support US entities with accounts payable, general ledger, and month‑end close activities.
• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger through reconciliations, journal entries and month‑end close processes.
• Prepare financial reports and management information.
• Research and analyze accounting data to provide accurate financial information.
• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal control procedures.
• Report to the VP, Corporate Controller and collaborate with the accounting team.

• Minimum two years’ experience in accounting.
• Undergraduate degree in accounting or 3‑4 years of experience in accounting.
• Experience supporting US entities, accounts payable, general ledger, and month‑end close.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
• Detail‑oriented and reliable with a commitment to accuracy and timeliness.

Hourly: $19.00 – $40.00 depending on location and experience.

Annual Salary: $55,000 – $100,000 depending on role and experience.
