The Legal Aid Society seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Finance team in New York. You will support the Accounting Manager with GAAP financial statements, monthly close, and endowment accounting for a major nonprofit serving New Yorkers.
Candidates should have 5+ years of related experience, a BA/BS in Finance or Accounting, and strong Excel and GAAP knowledge. Experience with Financial Edge, Vena, or Oracle Net Suite is preferred; nonprofit experience is a plus.
