Overview
Junior Accountant – responsible for day‑to‑day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, month end closings, journal entries, and financial reporting. The role supports the financial team in maintaining accurate subsidiary records and resolving reconciliations.
Responsibilities- Record and analyze expenses, ensuring compliance with accrual‑basis accounting.
- Prepare and post journal entries, process month‑end accruals, and reconcile subsidiary accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Support external and internal audit activities, including documentation of controls.
- Maintain general ledger integrity and participate in ongoing process improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1–2 years of accounting experience or accounting internship experience.
- Strong proficiency with Quick Books or similar accounting software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- CPA in progress or preference for candidates with CPA track.
Salary:
Competitive (approximately $60,000 yearly). Full‑time, Permanent,
