Job Description- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll accurately and on schedule
- Manage payroll changes including new hires, terminations, transfers, compensation adjustments, and garnishments
- Reconcile payroll data and validate reports prior to transmission
- Process special payroll runs including bonuses and year-end adjustments
- Resolve complex payroll discrepancies and escalated processing issues
- Partner cross-functionally to address employee payroll inquiries and resolve payment-related concerns
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries involving garnishments, tax levies, and compliance matters
- Ensure adherence to payroll deadlines, internal policies, and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- 7+ years of multi-state payroll experience in a high-volume environment
- Experience with multi-company payroll structures preferred
- CPP or FPC certification strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of U.S. wage and hour laws, garnishments, and payroll tax requirements
- Experience with Ulti Pro required
- IBM Cognos Business Intelligence experience preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
