Accounting Assistant

Looking to kickstart your career in corporate finance? Kravet LLC is seeking a detail-oriented, organized Accounting Assistant to join our Finance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting our day-to-day operations by managing customer accounts, handling billing adjustments, and maintaining tax documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and update customer sales tax profiles seamlessly within Avalara and Oracle.
• Obtain, review, and validate sales tax exemption and resale certificates from B2B customers.
• Prepare, verify, and input sales tax credits and credit card refunds into the Oracle system.
• Partner with customer service and internal finance teams to efficiently resolve sales tax discrepancies.
• Assist in preparing and submitting monthly/quarterly sales tax reports for relevant tax authorities.
• Lend a hand with ad-hoc accounting tasks and special finance projects as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and G Suite products.
• Experience with Oracle or similar EBS system preferred.
• Familiarity with sales tax procedures advantageous.
• Accounting knowledge beneficial.
• Possess a friendly demeanor, able to collaborate effectively and self-motivated in a dynamic setting.
• Skilled in extensive phone and email correspondence with clients and internal teams.
• Demonstrated ability to proactively take charge and excel within team dynamics or autonomously.
• Hybrid position with on-site training.
• Salary Range: $45,000 - $50,000.
