Financial Services Audit Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Services Audit Manager to lead the audit engagement services across multiple office locations.

• Lead and supervise the engagement team staff on the planning and execution of audit, review, or compilation engagements to deliver world-class client service.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement including staffing, planning, risk assessment, fieldwork, financial reporting, and the conclusion.
• Provide supervision and support to engagement staff, seniors, and supervisors; promote open communication with the engagement partner.
• Collaborate with seniors or partners on client issue resolution and make recommendations for any legal, regulatory, or accounting issues that arise during an audit engagement.
• Manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to efficiently meet client deadlines.
• Create and track engagement budgets to review for inefficiencies during the audit.
• Conduct constructive discussions with team members on their evaluations and provide counsel.
• Serve in professional development programs as an instructor or discussion leader.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• CPA license required.
• At least 5 years of public accounting experience with experience leading multiple engagements and supervising staff.
• Experience with audits of funds such as private equity, venture capital, hedge and fund of funds.
• Excellent analytical, technical, and auditing skills including familiarity with US GAAP.
• Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and competing projects.
• Strong leadership, training, and mentoring skills with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to represent the Firm to client management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project‑management skills with strong attention to detail and innovative problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.

Compensation ranges by office location:

• East Brunswick: $110,000–$190,000 annual
• Orlando: $100,000–$170,000 annual
• Red Bank: $110,000–$175,000 annual
• New York City: $110,000–$180,000 annual
• Whippany: $105,000–$165,000 annual
• Boca Raton: $100,000–$170,000 annual
