A Boutique High-Growth Private Equity Firm is looking to hire a VP - Assistant Controller, this role will report to CFO working with their Fund Finance, Tax, and IR Teams.
Will be responsible for Fund Financial reporting, Finance Analytics and Analysis. This professional with be instrumental in the growth of the fund financial operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Design and rollout standardized operating workflows, governance frameworks, and policies to replace prior processes
- Own the Fund Finance and Financials including monthly close, and leadership reporting packages with a focus on automation and accuracy.
- Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and variance analysis to drive executive decision-making.
- Manage annual funds audits, enhance internal controls, and oversee management agreements
- 9+ years of Accounting experience including Fund Financial Statements
- Must have bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Master's and CPA a plus
- Strong in GAAP
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently most of the time
- MS Office proficiency--especially with Excel
