My client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk / Junior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting. In this role, you ll support inventory-related accounts payable functions, ensuring vendor invoices are accurately processed through three-way matching (purchase orders, receiving documents, and invoices) while working closely with procurement, warehouse, and finance teams.

• Perform three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving documents, and vendor invoices.
• Process and reconcile inventory-related invoices.
• Support accounts payable and general accounting functions.
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate financial records and accounting documentation.
• Assist with account reconcilations and month-end close.
• Enter accounting data into the ERP/accounting system.
• Provide general accounting and administrative support.

• 1+ years of accounting, accounts payable, or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with three-way matching and inventory invoices preferred.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a plus.
