Experience: Senior Level

Salary: $115,000 - $130,000 per year

Job Details

What you ll do

1. Prepare quarterly, and annual financial statements with supporting variance analyses

2. Perform lease analyses, net rent calculations, and property-level financial evaluations

3. Drive quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting in partnership with senior leadership

4. Review and analyze financial reporting from third-party property managers; resolve discrepancies

5. Advise and direct external property managers on accounting standards and best practices

6. Support onboarding of newly acquired assets into accounting systems

7. Own full-cycle accounting: journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and period-end close

8. Support joint venture and construction audits alongside external auditors

9. Maintain J-SOX internal control compliance and documentation

10. Optimize and administer the Yardi accounting platform

What you bring

BA/BS in Accounting or Finance
Active CPA license or in process a plus
4+ years of accounting experience w
REAL ESTATE INDSUTRY EXPERIENCE
Public accounting firm audit background strongly preferred
Experience with Yardi or a comparable platform (MRI, Angus) a plus
